On September 9th 2006, I was a clean shaven individual.
Since that day so many moons ago, I have been growing a sweet set of sideburns, and I regulary compete in the Petaluma Whiskerino.
To date, my competition results are:
- 1st Place: 2008 Petaluma Whiskerino Sideburns category
- 1st Place: 2009 Petaluma Whiskerino Sideburns category
- 1st Place: 2010 Petaluma Whiskerino Sideburns category
Lamentably, the burns and I were eliminated in the first round of the 2011 U.S National Beard and Mustache Championships in the "partial beard" category, but I had a great trip to Lancaster, PA.
Every now and then, someone asks me about caring for facial hair, and while I'm no expert, I certainly know what I like to use. With this in mind, I thought it was about time to make my sideburns start working for me!
